I’d been wanting to try out black figure painting for a little while, and I’ve got some more ideas to play with with the bilingual style as well (some artistic interpretation there). I had a lot of fun with it! I’ll definitely give it another go.

It’s a little scratched up looking because I was chatting while sanding and not paying enough attention to what I was doing 😅. That being said, I’m not going to fix it because 1) it’s just for me 2) most of it’s going in the ground and 3) it kinda works!

I made this piece in 2019 but it’s so big and awkward, I haven’t sold it. shipping would be a nightmare.

this was my first large slab built piece that wasn’t on a mold! it turned out pretty good despite that lol (though one of the feet chipped off in the kiln)
